# Request etiquette

A few asks, to keep things running smoothly:

1. **Check the library first** — the search on the requests site shows a
   "available" badge if it's already there.
2. **Big shows: a season at a time** is kinder than requesting fifteen seasons
   of something you might not finish. You can always request the next season
   the moment you finish one.
3. **Don't re-request.** Once is enough — the system doesn't work faster if
   asked twice. If something's stuck on Processing for more than a day, that's
   worth telling Hayden about instead.
4. **Anything goes, within reason.** Movies and TV are what the system handles.
   If you're after something unusual (a specific edition, a documentary series,
   anything weird), just ask Hayden directly.
